Something old, something new, something borrowed and somethbing blue ist eigentlich ein Spruch für Bräute, die in ein neues Leben gehen. Für mich ist nun auch ein Lebensabschnitt vorbei und ich gehe nun bewusst in einen neuen, bunteren als bisher. Ich habe alte Kleidungsstücke zerschnitten, um Teile in mein neues Leben mitzunehmen, neuen Stoff gekauft um ihn mit diesem zu verbinden und Stickmuster ausgewählt, die meine Hoffnungen zeigen sollen. Schwalben, die weit wegfliegen können, aber immer wieder in ihre alte Heimat zurückkehren und Rosen, die duften und unendlich viel Schönheit zeigen.
